Closing The Loop

To close the loop on this “Obama as Nobel Peacemaker” prize recipient deal and get back to posting cool pics ….

I think this seals the deal that this is an inconsequential president. To actually accept this award in clear view of most of the rest of the world saying Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! (”What the f*@&”! to you landlubbers) and in clear view of the fact that he *has not accomplished anything* is indicative of his political and social tin-ear. It is a joke, and he is too absorbed in himself to see that.

I often thought that this presidency was quickly removing any doubt that they are indeed well into the deep end of the global pool with regards to the intellectual heavy-lifting, both domestically and internationally, that needs to be done to competently represent the United States. Offering such a lightweight resume for this job and, like the Nobel committee, running on a “I’m Not Bush” platform is an ideal way to gain the votes of liberals who eschew the personal responsibility of actually…you know….”learning” about a candidate, but instead voting for such obvious style over substance has indeed brought us a junior varsity/not-ready-for-prime-time chief executive.

I know the die-hard Obama fans will pooh-pooh this and recite, in a glazed-eyed and with a small facial twitch sort-of-way “You do not understand. Obama is the One”. Fine. Keep on defending Roman Polansky. Keep on saying this Nobel award is the biggest no-brainer in the history of the earth. Keep on telling your children and grand children that their tax burden, thanks to the brilliant economic machinations of The One, will put them in debt for life before their age reaches double digits. Keep on defending an administration that embraces Chavez but punishes Honduras when they try to enforce their constitution. Keep on dithering with regards to what to do in Afghanistan. Keep on playing Mayor of Chicago with that absurd Olympic trip (and *never* complain to me again about any “carbon footprint” BS after he flew his wife and Oprah over on a 757 and he himself flew AF 1 for that narcissistic 25 hours in Copenhagen). Keep on hiring people whose best qualification for federal service is that they haven’t paid their taxes in a half-dozen years. Keep hiring people who believe the US government and military were behind 9/11. Keep hiring people who give such great advice to a minor school student who is having a gay affair with an older man “I hope you used a condom” (I wonder if Jennings would have provided the same advice if the student in question would have been female.)

Just keep on.

I guess we are not “enlightened.” I heard a great idea this morning. He should send a gold star parent over to accept the prize on behalf of the U.S. Military. Just to remind the world who the real peacemakers and peacekeepers are…

not only does he have a tin ear, but he’s like a teenager who just got his driver’s license and ask his parents if he can run errands for them. why do I say this? well consider this he has taken more trips in his first year than any previous president and looks to set a new record. check out this story

I totally agree also and very well said. Just when you think it can’t any worse it does.

Been to sea with someone like that, a long time ago. Mom and dad were what is now defined as limousine liberals.
I was at an aircraft plant when obama was elected/annointed/inaugurated. Should have seen the IAM rank and file. The only ones of us on the floor who figured the guy out had USA, USN, USAF and USMC, Retired behind our names. We saw who he had kept company with and were well aware of his substandard record as a member of the United States Senate. He is as my Dad would have said, unable to find his ass from deep center field with either hand. I guess that is why he needed all those “friends” like ayers and company to help him out. Empty suit. I would say that his character is questionable but one would require having some semblance of character to begin with. And the man has no character at all. Has never had anything that even comes close.
