I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again….there aren’t many more cooler or mystical or religious or whatever things than a perfect sunrise (or sunset) at sea.
I posted a similar one back on the old blog – taken at the same time, but with more of an airplane in it. This is cool because the focus is on the guys there, taking a break to watch that big ol’ Mr. Sun pop up over the horizon for another day’s work.

Very cool.
In terms of the highlight of my DV experience, the sunrise on a quiet flight deck was second only to standing next to a Prowler in tension. Just fantastic. Polar opposites, but in both cases, no words can do it justice.
