Sunset. Not a whole lot to it. Its kind of weird knowing I won’t have the opportunity to take these shots come the new year.

Can’t tell anybody else how/what to feel, but think how exciting it’s going to be to have that career under your belt and now you’ll have time for some of the other thousand things you’re doing.
And come the new year, you’ll probably have lots of NEW stuff to do on top of it all.

Pinch, you’ll still have a military ID card, you’ll still be allowed on bases, and with the proper requests made with the PAO, you should still be allowed to take all the pictures you want.

Pinch – lovely photo.
Are there many US naval vessels named after foreign leaders? I cannot think of a British vessel named after anyone from another country.

“You ask, What is our policy? I will say; “It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy.” You ask, What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory—victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.”
Winston Churchill
I love that man and I am thrilled to know that a US warship is named after him.
I wouldn’t have known about your website/blog if not for blackfive.
