So….what was the amount of “Stimulus Money” that the Obama administration awarded to non-existent congressional districts?
$6.7 billion
how much??
$6.7 billion.
In Illinois alone (Obama’s home state, so its only proper…the “Chicago” way!), the invisible districts that received $6.5 million of our newly printed or newly borrowed money:
The 0′th (yes, that is not a typo….that is the “0′th”, as in “Zero’eth”) Congressional District
The 20th Congressional District
The 21st Congressional District
The 22nd Congressional District
The 28th Congressional District
The 33rd Congressional District
The 34th Congressional District
The 42nd Congressional District
The 44th Congressional District
The 53rd Congressional District
The 59th Congressional District
And that is just Illinois.
Indeed….we are in the best of hands!
If you can find a liberal, thank them so much for electing this…person. We can’t thank you enough.

Why do I get the feeling this ain’t going to some Skunk Works A-12?

Every time Congress gives itself a pay raise, the talking heads offer the following as an excuse: It is needed to attract high quality candidates.
Those high quality candidates are now representatives and are spending us into oblivion.
Time to start picking our candidates at random for the phone book.

I’m just about ready to join the “vote ‘em all out” crowd!

I’m certainly not getting any of it!
A few mill went to a local NOSC, recently. I take no issue with that except the center was scheduled to be demolished by 2012.

I want it back. Seriously! How in the #$@% can you physically give money to a district that doesn’t exist. Somebody got it and they need to turn it over.

So here is the plan. We form corporations called the ‘The 21st Congressional District’, the ‘The 22nd Congressional District’, ‘The 28th Congressional District’, etc.
Request the money and put it too good use, like making sure all the troops have helmet liners and up-armored vehicles and communications that they need, etc.
Sounds like a re-distribution of the wealth to me.

Oh, Bob. You actually want to use the money for something worthwhile? That’s not how it works, silly!!!
