With leadership like this how can anyone doubt we have a firm, strong, decisive, assured, intelligent, competent and courageous Commander in Chief?
In other words, if you can’t make a speech in an elementary school without your teleprompters, what CAN you do?

Seriously. Who runs this administration’s PR shop? They should be shot for letting something like this get through. The Big Guy himself should be sitting in a corner with a dunce cap on for not recognizing how ridiculous this would look.

I wonder what else is in the room but out of the frame of the shot. This seems like overkill for 2 dozen 6 year olds, but it’s not hard for me to imagine 2 dozen camera-toting, voice-recorder-holding journos clustered around whoever took this photo (check out the shadows of the flag on the wall – at least 2 very bright, steady lights are being pointed at El Presidente from behind the camera that took this image). If they are in fact his primary audience when he was speaking here, that’d make a lot more sense. As I’m sure you know, occasionally what’s left out of the picture frame is exactly as relevant as what’s included.

Apparently, the Pres was able to speak to the kiddies unaided. He used TOTUS for formal remarks to the media and other grownups.
Anybody else pick up on how high the prompter screens appear? A little above eye-height. Would allow BHO to show that high chin that makes him seem so aloof (arrogant).

Hey, 6th graders can be a tough audience!!
Even if the whole setup *was* for a following press conference, why on earth would he need teleprompters? Can the man not speak to anyone without a prepared script?

Maybe it was show and tell. He brought the TOTUS and maybe he demonstrating how to use reverb and green screen technology to show dramatic Greek columns.

Well, at least the “hey look at me” is looking just like what I thought he was all along…a doo-fuss.
