Down here in Va Beach (also known as one of the world’s largest summer resort areas – not ski areas) for a business conference tomorrow and they had about half a foot of snow yesterday – the most snow they’ve had in 20 years, they say. Here’s a pic from the 8th floor of the Sheraton, looking north. Click on it for a bit more detail. It doesn’t look like a lot of snow, but there’s much more there than meets the eye (the ice on the roads is about 4″ thick). There are some palm trees along Atlantic Avenue (middle of pic, heading lower-center left to mid-center of the image) that don’t look too happy.

Geesh. You said there were going to be other pictures and there’s not. I had beach snow picture up on Saturday, if you had bothered to look. But, no, not you.
